Artists and Writers Workshop

The 2014 Artist's and Writer's Workshop has been an amazing adventure.  It was such an honor to lead a group of talented creative people- to all who participated, I can't thank you enough for investing your time into growing artistically together this summer.

Above are a collection of highlights from the workshop that I led.  Each week, I designed graphics to stage the upcoming session.  Each week we also had a "take-away" for those who came-- I chose a quote that related to the material and designed a piece around it.

The End... Or the Beginning? 

After eight weeks wrestling through our own creative roadblocks, a mountain retreat was the grand finale to the workshop.  We enjoyed a glorious August day together in Estes Park, CO, with presentations, time to write and reflect, and a commencement ceremony. 

I especially want to thank Dustin Groeneman and Mark Silvers for their marvelous presentations on various aspects of Art and its wider context in the life of the community.  Special thanks all those who helped behind the scenes, and of course, to Jonathan Myers, who was instrumental in making the retreat and the workshop possible!

Thank you again to all who came, and for making it an amazing experience!  Let's do this again, sometime.
